Ms Justina Owusuaa Kumi is the visionary founder and CEO of Rayrolt Environment and Recycling Services. With over a decade of experience in environmental sustainability, social enterprise, and industrial operations, Ms Justina established Rayrolt with a bold ambition—to turn Ghana’s plastic waste into a valuable economic resource.
Her journey began as a community mobilizer focused on sanitation awareness and later evolved into entrepreneurship, leading her to build one of the few plastic recycling facilities in Kumasi. Under her leadership, Rayrolt has expanded its operations from small-scale waste collection to a fully functional shredding and baling facility serving both local and international markets.

Mr. Manfred Acheampong is the Co-founder and International Coordinator at Rayrolt Environment and Recycling Services, where he plays a vital role in shaping the organization’s global strategy and cross-border partnerships.
With a forward-thinking mindset and deep commitment to sustainability, Manfred bridges the local realities of plastic waste challenges in Ghana with global innovation and resource mobilization. His work focuses on building strong international collaborations, securing strategic funding, and aligning Rayrolt’s vision with global environmental goals such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Manfred’s leadership is instrumental in expanding Rayrolt’s visibility beyond Ghana’s borders. From coordinating with development agencies to representing the organization in international forums, he ensures that Rayrolt is not only solving a local problem—but contributing meaningfully to the global climate and circular economy conversation.
Driven by impact, grounded in purpose, and inspired by community transformation, Manfred continues to champion the idea that sustainable development must be both inclusive and international.

Nana Addo Asante is a seasoned engineer and industry leader with over 15 years of experience spanning engineering, production, and operations management. He is the founder of Recypure, a company specializing in the trade of rPET bales, PET flakes, and Used Beverage Cans (UBC), driving circular economy solutions within the recycling industry.
Nana began his professional journey with Norpalm Ghana Limited, and has since held impactful roles at Omnifert Ghana Limited, Kumasi Compost and Recycling Plant, and UpEnergy Group. Rising through the ranks from technician to senior management, he has served in key leadership positions including Production Head, Operations Manager, and Production Manager. His tenure in these roles is marked by his ability to streamline operations, reduce production costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
Academically, Nana holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering and an MSc in Health, Safety, and Risk Management. His professional interests lie at the intersection of sustainability, clean energy, waste management, and recycling, where he continues to make a meaningful impact.

Napoleon Jackson Mensah is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Science Laboratory Technology at Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University (DHLTU) in Wa, Ghana. With over two decades of experience, he is a distinguished environmental scientist, waste management expert, and laboratory technologist, known for his contributions to environmental sustainability and applied science education. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Environmental Science at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), further deepening his expertise in the field.
Mr. Mensah’s academic journey began with a strong foundation in environmental science, laboratory technology, and waste management. His early career was marked by in-depth research into environmental pollution, monitoring, and sustainable waste practices, setting the stage for a lifelong commitment to improving ecological systems through science and education.
Over the years, he has held several important academic and technical roles, including serving as a Senior Laboratory Technologist and Demonstrator at KNUST’s Faculty of Renewable Natural Resources (FRNR), and as a Science Tutor and Laboratory Coordinator at Kinbu Secondary/Technical School in Accra. These roles allowed him to blend practical laboratory skills with instructional excellence, mentoring numerous students and contributing to the advancement of science education in Ghana.
Mr. Mensah is also a published researcher, with 17 academic publications to his name. His work has been cited 189 times and read by over 5,200 scholars and professionals, underscoring the relevance and impact of his research in the domains of environmental science and waste management.
A passionate advocate for environmental responsibility and scientific innovation, Mr. Mensah continues to contribute to academic research, policy discussions, and community initiatives focused on ecological sustainability and waste reduction.

Collins Kusi is the Chief Financial Officer at Rayrolt Environment and Recycling Services. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Psychology and a Master’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation.
His unique background helps him combine financial planning with a deep understanding of human behavior and data analysis.
At Rayrolt, Collins leads the financial strategy, budgeting, and impact measurement. He ensures that the company uses its resources wisely, tracks its results, and stays accountable to its mission of reducing plastic waste and creating jobs.
Collins is passionate about using data to drive real change. He believes that solving environmental problems starts with understanding people and using numbers to tell the story of progress.

Ms. Charlotte Yeboah serves as the Director of Research and Development at Rayrolt Environment and Recycling Services, bringing a wealth of experience in education, training, and public sector engagement. She also holds the position of Training Coordinator at the Ghana Education Service (GES), where she plays a key role in developing human capital and capacity-building initiatives for educators and staff.
At Rayrolt, Charlotte applies her expertise in training and curriculum development to:
• Design and oversee environmental education and awareness programs
• Coordinate training workshops for waste collectors, youth, and community leaders
• Develop strategic learning partnerships with academic institutions
• Support research initiatives aimed at improving recycling and waste management practices
Her dual roles in education and environmental sustainability make her a key contributor to Rayrolt’s vision of building a knowledgeable, empowered, and eco-conscious society. Charlotte is particularly passionate about community involvement and youth engagement in sustainable development.
With her strong background in training and coordination, Charlotte ensures that Rayrolt’s programs are not only effective but also scalable and impactful across different communities in Ghana.

Ms. Afua Konadu Amo-Mensah serves as an Environmental Health Analyst at Rayrolt Environment and Recycling Services. She is a Registered Nurse in the United States, bringing a valuable blend of clinical knowledge and public health expertise to the organization.
With a strong interest in environmental health and community well-being, Afua contributes to Rayrolt’s mission by connecting health outcomes with environmental conditions. Her unique background in nursing enhances the company’s approach to addressing the health impacts of poor waste management and pollution, particularly in underserved communities.
