Empowering Communities Through Green Jobs
At Rayrolt Environment and Recycling Services, employment is more than a paycheck — it is a pathway to dignity, empowerment, and environmental responsibility. Our operations are designed not only to combat plastic pollution but also to generate sustainable livelihoods, especially for women and youth in our communities.
As of today, Rayrolt has created approximately 200 jobs—a combination of:
• Direct Employment: Workers involved in plant operations, waste processing, equipment handling, and logistics.
• Indirect Employment: Community-based waste collectors, sorters, transport providers, and support service workers.
Our inclusive approach means that many of these roles are occupied by women and young people, giving them opportunities to:
• Build practical, transferable skills
• Participate in income-generating green economy activities
• Contribute to a cleaner, healthier Ghana
We provide training, mentorship, and safe working conditions, ensuring that our employees are not just workers — they are change agents for sustainability.
Future Employment Potential: 1,000+ Jobs in the Green Manufacturing Sector
As part of our growth strategy, Rayrolt is actively seeking technological and financial support to acquire equipment for processing PET and LDPE waste into finished products, such as:
• Food-grade plastic bags and packaging materials from LDPE
• PVC pipes and construction-related plastic products from PET and LDPE
Retain value locally instead of exporting raw material.
Build local supply chains for eco-friendly plastic products.
Create over 1,000 jobs — both direct and indirect — across various sectors.
Machine operators
Packaging specialists
Quality control and production managers
Maintenance technicians
Warehouse and inventory handlers
Sales and distribution agents
And importantly, we are committed to ensuring at least 60% of these new jobs go to women and youth — populations often underrepresented in industrial employment.
By prioritizing local labor and skills development, Rayrolt is:
Strengthening Ghana’s circular economy
Reducing unemployment in urban and peri-urban areas
Promoting gender equity and youth empowerment
Building a national culture of sustainability and innovation
Our facility’s proximity to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) also provides a unique opportunity for students and graduates to gain practical experience, conduct research, and secure internships or employment within our operations.
Rayrolt’s employment mission is clear: to make recycling a pillar of sustainable economic development in Ghana, while uplifting the lives of everyday people, especially women and youth.
Together, we can turn waste into opportunity, and plastic into prosperity — for people, planet, and purpose.
